Grease?

What grease do people use for general things like wheel axle, dust seals, that sort of thing?
I use Castrol LM grease.

Yup. LM for most things. Moly where pressures are high such as bevel drives, CV and universal joints. Copaslip on fasteners and red rubber near rubber boots such as calliper dust seals where petroleum based greases make the rubber go baggy. LM is my goto for 90% of things though

Yep as Gordon says.

I use marine grease (outboard motor stuff) for anything that might injest water , wheels bearings etc

Red rubber grease for seals , Silicone grease for electrical connectors , hard to beat good old Castrol LM for normal applications though.

Oh, right, not heard of the red rubber grease before, so that was usefull.
Silicone grease really good for satelite lnb connectors.

Actually, what about using the red rubber for those pesky hydraulic clamps on hondas, which go shitty at the first sign of mist, may be on other bikes too
