If I'm going to start attending a few events again I need to refresh my stuff.

So any recommendations on a tent that's Khan Biker size but packs down smaller. Looking for something good quality that will last.

Also any recommendations on a good mat? I have a thermarest basecamp xl, but I still find it uncomfortable and cold!

Tents not too sure. Sleeping mat has to be exped down inflatable. Expensive but warm and comfy. I've got a down 9 and it's great.

I use the Robbens Voyager 3.
Smaller and lighter than the Kyam. Its a Tunnel tent so its lower than the Kyam. Its rock solid in storms,100 % waterproof even in nasty rain, got a decent size porch too. A bit lighter and packs down a lot smaller then the Kyam biker i had

I,m thinking of going down the same road with a smaller tent as well.
Been looking at the vango banshee 200.

For the Exped Downmats try Tamarack Outdoors. They always have offers on and will usually give 15-20% discount. Ask for Sally or tony and feel free to say Austin put you onto them, but not that I promised the discount just that I recommended them and that they always do a good price :).

Tents...... SteveT has a great tent up for sale and although I have expressed interest if you want it don't wait for me to make my mind up. ( I am away at the mo and can't think about whether I want it or not properly).

That a very good point.
Its taken about 4 years to recover.

I remember feeling a little green around the gills when we were on the isle of skye, and I'm sure it was Chad that recommended I have a rusty nail or something like that. I felt instantly better!

When Vader and I done the Austrian winter mountain rally ,i thought I was comfy on a therma rest. But my Lobotomised Pet German had a checkered dog blanket the ones with a reflective coating on the floor face to cover the inside of the tent and a therma rest that was luxury it was like stepping into the ritz brilliant idea.
