Finally a decent sized shed to work on the bike!

IMG_1751.JPG

Bike fits in width ways for easy access (I'll be getting a dolly to move it length ways to work on).

The business end where I'll be adding a workbench too, it's nice to have somewhere to store all my camping gear and panniers etc... :)

Niiiicccceee shed Craig.

However, what you are going to be doing in there with your dolly is none of our business.

haha I knew someone would mention that Phil :D

Andy, I wanted windows to let some natural light in (although I will be getting electrics) but I will be getting some drop down roller blinds for it and possibly put some bars across.

Looking good Craig,
Nice to see a shed built on solid foundations

I take it the axe is there for if someone really pisses you off ? :D

Nice one.

However, it is way too tidy.

It won't be for long I assure you! :D

Oh yes, all dug out and concreted properly, got a good rate as I knew the guy. :)

Actually you are spot on, long story and I'll telly ou over a pint some day but I used to have it in my car for a certain person, thankfully (for him) it was never used in anger. :)

That's very nice Craig, and a proper roof too. (You'll be needing a chair to sit on whilst trying to remember where that extra leftover bolt is from every time you do some fettling. I know couldn't survive without my thinking chair ! :))

Proper man cave that is - Well Done you

Never mind putting in blinds - I use an old dust sheet hung off of small hooks to keep nosey feckers eyes off the goods.

I do like the idea of a "thinking" chair though - just need to shift a bike or two before i have the space

Yeah it was my brother in-law's dad (who was going to build me one) that suggested that roof. I was going to go with felt (albeit the 40kg heavy duty felt) but he suggested the coroline roofing and I'm glad I went with that, even though it added a couple of hundred quid to it.

The trouble with 'thinking' chairs Craig is there is a significant risk of spending more time thinking than actually doing :)

haha yeah I know, but sat in the man shed with a brew pondering and looking at the bike sounds good to me. :)

Yeah but the guy it was for knew that and thus most certainly wouldn't have been fighting fair so I thought let's even the odds. :D Don't worry I haven't started mixing in unsavoury circles, it's a long story that I wouldn't put on t`interweb. :blahblah:

Now Craig,

Is the insulation to keep the cold out ?

Or to keep the noise of the cursing within ? :D
