What, you're gonna have 3 boys in there.....

Haha :D

Did some more tonight, fitting it in around taking Ellie out and going to the gym , I'm kernackered! There was some cursing as I've got one strip on the roof left and ran out of insulation. Will have to buy another roll just to do that one bit.

Well got the roof finished and started the boarding today, full of bloody cold but managed to get a bit done. :)

Hard to take pics because I've got everything piled in the middle!

Will do some more tomorrow if this damn cold doesn't get any worse!

haha... I'll feel the benefit in the winter when the bike needs an oil change and I've got my heater on all nice and cosy, brew on the side and jobs a good-un! :D

Got the corners in the apex roof done today and started the shelving but me battery died so bollocks, shower and food time!

Nice one Craig but you do realise that it'll be no where near that organised in 6 months time don't you...!

I know Phil, it's always the same!

No pics but some more shelving up, tool rack up and started on the roofing. I'm knackered and think I've twinged my back so may rest tomorrow and go out for a meal with the little-un. :)

Just a potter today, been out for a meal with Ellie. :)

But I did do Steve's idea of putting an old dust rag over the window and it seems to work a treat.

Thanks Paul, like Phil says I bet it won't stay that way! :D

I know Hamster, everyone keeps saying are you moving in? lol

I got fed up of cutting everything by hand and borrowed a jigsaw from my uncle, it's a cordless Dewalt and by christ what a differnce! So hopefully will have it finished this week. I was wondering what to do with the floor but think the best way might be some interlocking foam matting that will both insulate and give some knee protection when working on the bike.

Well finally got it finished, apart from a few little jobs but 95% is done. Finished the last of the ply boards on the roof and sealed with tape and yes I've drilled ventilation holes in the sides :D Also put the flooring in. Should be a tidy little workshop now and I just have to figure out how to get the bike in! lol

p.s. Ellie did me a couple of plaques that we have put up, a nice picture and a sign saying Ellie and Craig Kidda's Corner :D

That looks like a fine hideaway Craig. As I read the thread I was wondering how you made such a good job of it until you admitted you had a little helper :) I bet she loved getting involved.

They are 4 feet wide and open from the left so right one stays locked and can get in/out ok even for a fat bastard like me. :D

I might add I didn't make the shed it was bought, I was going to attempt it with the lad next door but thought better of it! Besides, it was hard enough just bloody insulating and boarding it out!

Fantastic idea that Soho, a thinking chair is definitely needed. :)

Good idea Steve I've got some dust sheets on one of the shelves. [emoji106]
Nice shed sir.

Expect the bike to be super clean.

So I had this idea a while ago so decided to try it, it's a shutter for the window so the evil people can't see in. I've hinged a block of wood inside so when you open it it falls and hit a stop and keeps the shutter up. There's rubber around this inside edge to stop it banging against the shed too. I've got the other one almost made up and sort that out tomorrow.

Better than messing around with covers inside and I'll also put some padlocks on it too.

Oh and it won't be staying orange, that's just a coat of protecting paint to stop the wood rotting etc... :)
