Hierarchy of Trails Routes - Cumbria

Not sure if this link exists here or not. I did post it over on xrv a few years ago. If you want to go off-road legally in Cumbria this is the resource for you, provided by Cumbria County Council...

Hierarchy of Trails Routes : Cumbria County Council

Select an OS map on the left hand side and you'll find PDFs of Landranger maps with legal trails marked on 'em. The individual survey sheets give you some details about the trail surface, condition, etc.

Hope it's of some use to some of you. Enjoy!

Used it to good affect in May when eldest and I attended the ukgser event at Dent.

Also had a great deal of help selecting rides from Tone - local knowledge, even if it is few years old ;), is ace.

Thanks for posting up here and on xrv Jim

Bit far ahead to put down plans John. Eldest & I had a hoot in May - testing and entertaining in equal measures. The look on the UKGSers faces when we rolled back into camp on the Friday afternoon, knackered and manky, was priceless :D

Heres hoping he'll be able enough for some of the same next year :respect13:

John, Steve, get yourselves down here. I have space for a couple of tents or there are some beds indoors (strange, but true), a garage full of tools and lots of shite... mainly shite, an unopened bottle of Talisker (did I say that out loud?). I might even have a functioning trail bike and be able to join you on some the trails.

Hi Jim,

Sounds good to me, thanks very much. Might just take you up on that offer next year, be good to hook up again
But really, --- Talisker :vomit:
I prefer Laphroaig over Talisker and that's saying something :D

My current tipple is Tamnavoulin, very tasty :drinking10:, took it to the National this year.
I shall take some down if things pan out.
Just chatted to Steve, think he used some of your lanes last year, said it was a hoot :respect:

Thanks again

Cheers
