Allow me to reintroduce myself...

I know quite a few of the regulars here, as I used to post to the XRV forum quite a bit.

I'm Buggles, I'm from the Netherlands.

The time I don't spend playing with my kid, or working, I like to spend on motorcycles. Currently, a KTM 990 Adventure.

I've been out of the forums for a while for a variety of reasons, but want to get back into the thick of things now.

Hopefully I'll make it out to the UK on the bike at some point.

My next ride is a Dambuster ride at the end of June, can't wait!

All good here Ian, would love to come out for a national at some point.

First I have a small tick, tocking issue to take care of ;)

Spooky or what!

Your name came up in coversation a few weeks ago when I popped in to see Lowflyer. How the devil are you . . . and that mad brother of yours?

Maybe see you this side of the channel in the future

Hi Steve,

Glad to hear my name is still spoken in the hallowed Halls of UK adventure motorcycling :)

All good here, after some time abroad we settled back in the Netherlands, welcomed a little boy to our family (not so little anymore, 4 yrs old).

I'm still the proud owner of Wee Jack's old 990, although - tick tock...

Haven't done much riding aside from the odd ride I was able to combine with work travel.

Hoping to get more riding done in the near future, as I've recently come to realize how much I missed it! That should (at some point) include a trip across the channel again!

Brother's doing fine, mad as ever (just less hair), had to sell his bike some time back, but eager to ride as ever.

Best,

JB

Hello JB and welcome back. I think the last time I saw you was in Yorkshire and that was 7 years ago

Hello, I think we met at Dent - the second XRV national rally. You were something in the music business IIRC.

@austin, that's correct (or was rather), I'm no longer in the music business.

@outrunner, yes the big orange 955, what a machine that was. I still ride orange, but now the ones from Austria :)

Hi there JB,

Long time no hear.
Think the last time we hooked up was when you and bro decided to take on the hill to the mast at the top of the Beallach.
And this could be it , not sure

At the summit, but not sure if you boys made it, seem to recall a lack of grip on one of the bikes, think it was bro's

Anyways, good to hear you are up and about.
Give us a shout if you fancy crossing the border again

Yep, that's my Tigger in the background, and my brother did have slippy fingers on his way up!

Then again, he had the stones to try, never having ridden off pavement before! I was too afraid we'd all get a collective hernia trying to lift mine, so I stayed below.

That was one epic trip, second only to my trip to Norway! Scotland and the North are beautiful!
