Re: 1999 Honda XRV750 Africa Twin for sale

I have a question --- WHY ???

Oh well, I guess at this very moment in time, Mr T has already made a move on another bike.
Thing is, will it be sparkly new this time ?? mmmm ;) ;)

Good luck with the sale Steve

No Phil, not that far south :D

A chap from Sunderland took it away - just got a text from him saying he's arrived home safe & well and is in luv with the Green Machine.

The dork fm Stafford claimed my @ was too damaged (dents in the tank), too expensive (has he checked out his web-site lately?) and I lived too far away. Sunderalnd man was v-happy with the bikes condition and he took nearly all the spare stuff I had for it as well, so the garage is well and truley empty at the mo

That sounds to me like a dangerously empty garage.

I'd get withdrawal symptoms very quickly.

Even more dangerous is an empty garage and FULL pockets :D

Phil - yes it was to a private buyer who was, to quote him, "dancing", when he saw the bike . . . . . and I've heard nowt from him that would change that feeling.

I have to admit to trawling fleabay and gumtree, waiting for something to shout "BUY ME", but I've given meself a good telling that 2 sets of wheels in the garage is enough (doesn't include the BSA, cos it's only 'ickle ;) )

TTFN,
