In darts, such accuracy might be worth a few points.
Not quite so clever when attaching skirting however....

I have no idea what the said cable does, or should do, fortunately it's no longer live. Can't guess why!

looks like the cooker cable we found in this house,

fortunately the previous owner had a gas cooker so never used the cooker point and we found it before we installed our electric oven :)

It can work quite well. On the other hand I get bugger all done!

I had a bulls eye on a similar cable when moved into our current house. I was drilling a hole to hang a big mirror - middle of the wall 2/3rds up. Suddenly the drill went off. A quick peak in the hole and there was two exposed cores drilled slap bang in the middle of a cable running diagonally across the wall. but not through. I reset the fuse and it all still works to this day. I shoved some tape in the hole and then polyfilla. What a cable is doing down the middle of a wall is beyond me though.

I have form for this too. I once put a nail straight through a central heating pipe after trying to stop some boards creaking. I have given up DIY now. :)

Sent from my iPhone with a smile :)

Boys, boys invest in a cable tracker, only cost circa £10 out of most DIY shops. Saves you a nasty ringing on your right elbow, don't ask how I know, but, good news, haven't been bothered by arthritis and I'm of bus pass age :D
