Cheap, cheap, cheap & very rare car for sale

A bit sad to see this old girl move on but move on it must.
Enter that illustrious motor - the Rover 414 in what used to be gleaming Old English White (aka magnolia)!
Whats rare about that I hear you ask - Vanessa has had it 9 years & the head gasket is still good, which by all accounts is rare for the legendary K series engine ;)

She's a '97 on an R plate, Mot'd till June 15, good tyres (rears nearly new), recent cambelt, front discs & pads new last year, oil changed every 12-15 months or so.
This car NEVER fails to start and has never let us down, very reliable & just the odd consumable & age related stuff required at mot time.
It's been a daily driver, shopping & tip run car, nevertheles she's reasonably tidy but theres a bit of rust creeping in on the rear arches, overall quite a nice car to drive & I wouldn't hesitate to hop in it & drive anywhere in the country in it tomorrow.
91,800 miles.

£250

I'm so disappointed in you lot, fully expected some jibes by now!
Anyway, it might not be for sale anymore, might leave it in the front garden for storage - can't buy a garden shed for that ;)

You're going to have to pay people more than that to take it away.

In fairness I had a Y plate 825i. It was really a Honda Accord with the Honda V6 engine. Performance was amazing, economy not so good  Unfortunately the body got a bit ripe but it was a bloody good car. Just after they lost the Honda support and just went downhill.

No need to sell the old girl yet, it will be a few years before you need a 4X4 to do the school run Phil! :mockery22:

Popped it on ukgser, 2 pms within the hour. Car now provisionally spoken for.

Yep, John.
A cheap hack for someone - I really didn't know how much to price it for but with the replacement now on the drive we just need it moved. It cost Vanessa 1k, 9 years ago from a main dealer dispersal 'sale' - don't you just hate the way these modern vehicles depreciate ;)
I'm just praying it's 1k replacement is as dependable & cheap to run (unlikely in all fairness) but at least it looks 'nice' and has a heated front screen :)
