From Auntie Beeb - Dashcam footage from public scheme to go Wales-wide

All four police forces in Wales are to start using dashcam footage recorded by the public to investigate driving offences following a successful pilot scheme by North Wales Police.

Operation Snap started last October in north Wales, encouraging drivers to upload evidence to the police website.

So far, the force has dealt with 129 cases as a result of footage submitted.

You might want to think twice before submitting footage though - Footage has to be unedited and include the whole journey, not just the incident.

So, if you've been naughty before the recorded incident you might just get a talking to. Wonder if this will deter footage being submitted?

Love the last one.....the driver must have been able to see the red car heading towards the roundabout yet he/she just carried on. Not the car on the roundabout's fault really but very avoidable.
