A- could not find anything online about it but Eagles Nest is on opposite bank of Wye, on the edge of the car park for the Lancaut peninsular nature reserves.

F- Ferrari garage in Northleach, obviously kept all the cars under cover due to damp weather but left the door open so got one.

G- Carpet Giant could not find a giant anything near the roads in Glos so this in South Glos

I All the 650 Transalps were built in Italy, there is a video of the production - how your transalp 650 was made
J- Cud Hill folly is the entrance to a family cemetery and is by the Roman road from Gloucester to Bath, The Portway (there are a number of Roman Portway roads).

L- was going to show a flock of Alpacas but they were not out, too cold and wet? so its sheep the animal that made the Cotswolds rich (for some).

M- This pillbox was in the Green Stop Line, a WW2 anti invasion defensive line around Bristol using the canals, railway embankments/cuttings and natural steep valleys for much of its length.

N- north(ish) the 4 Shires stone where 4 counties met until 1930 when the Worcs 'island' was given to Glos. The current pillar replaced much earlier stones possibly going back to Saxon times.

O- The Orchard at Stoke Orchard was an orchard but is probably a typical fate of orchards now, my Harley came from just round the corner.

That Tyndale monument could be X rated with a little bit of a touch up. Keep it up, as they say ;)

P- Pink Floyd Nick Mason is a co-owner of the airfield, the wing-walking biplanes were/are? based here, it was originally a WW1 airfield.

Q- Queens Head, Longford brought a CB750F2 from the previous landlord a few years ago.

R- Wye Valley Rapids rather disappointing too much reflection to see the rough water, nowhere closer to get the bike.

S- southernmost point of modern Gloucestershire where it meets South Glos and Wilts but the stone is actually a parish boundary stone on the Badminton estate. There is a more impressive Tri-point on the Fosse Way at Colerne for pre 1972 Glos/ Wilts/ Somerset.

T- I noticed I had a good view of Tyndale Monument when I was taking pics of Swinhay House for X, used in some films, on the opposite side of the lane. This would cover 3 letters T also N and K, but had done N and K already. Monument erected in 1866 memory of William Tyndale the first translator of the bible into English.

U- Sapperton tunnel was the longest tunnel in UK when it was built in 1789 at 3817 yards, good pub -Tunnel House this end. Over 40 years ago at the ruins of the lock keepers house at the other end of the tunnel I found some very rusty remains of a pre WW1 Triumph, a mate used the lugs in a rebuild.

V- Victory Hotel at junction of Victory Road and High Street don’t know if pub named after road or vice versa.

W- one of the most westerly points of Glos view towards Wintour's Leap cliffs

X-Rated thought of film locations locally for X rated films, Swinhay House and Badminton House then decided Berkeley Castle was a better the death/murder of Edward II using a redhot poker was definitely X rated.

Y- a bit of USA in Glos RAF(USAF) Fairford, worked there in Concorde Flight Test from 1969-76. Have seen U2 & B2 from there but northing out today.

Z- Slimbridge WWT , a bird zoo? is the best we can do for a zoo in Glos.

I have now reordered the pics so some of the replies are out of order .
Surprised how many miles I have done, about 600, having restricted myself to one county, though 2 from South Glos, which was Glos before it was Avon, N Avon then S Glos!
