Took a wee tootle out today, cos I can and it was hot
Had the old green beastie out for a thrash up to Foyers and back the top loop
Loch Ness outside the Dores Inn, it was hooching with tourists.
Had a few people coming over for a chat about the bike ( wouldn't get that with the Beemer )
Anyways, headed along the shore line towards Foyers.
Road was dead quiet, think they were all scooping up at the Dores Inn
Loch Ruthven in all it's glory.
The colours this time of year are truly beautiful
And of course the obligatory photo from the west side of the Loch above Dores.
All in all a great wee bimble about.
As an aside, popped in to the camp site in Foyers owned by an old client of mine. It has fairly come on, clean, heated floors etc and so close to the Loch you could chuck a stone in it . Also the pub has re opened near the campsite, doing really well. Strange how the introduction of a camp site to a village like Foyers can transform it so readily.
Well worth a visit
