Yep,

Once again Sharrie has entered this

http://www.lochnessmarathon.com/

For the 2nd time ( she was cursing you this morning Debs ), I believe alcohol was involved Mrs McVader ???

She was bricking it when I saw her and J this morning. Had to go to one of my sites so couldn't hang about, bloody typical, never work weekends. :( She's carrying my tartan, so at least there will be one Ross clan member running :D

Anyways, I shall turn up at some point tomorrow to cheer her on, might have to take the bike up and down the Corkscrew at Inverfarigaig a few times, just to get a good vantage point you understand. :idea-013:

Good on you Sharrie, it's a tough one, they have hills up here people, and a big one not far from the end.

See you and the bear tomorrow :respect: good luck

Me and Fiona could have came along to spectate but didn't know anything about this! We will be on the go tomorrow. Might try to get up to Inverness.
Best of luck Sharrie.

Jim,

Are you taking the bikes ?
the road is closed but I know a cunning short cut ;) that'll take you down roughly in the middle of the course, then there are lots of side roads to avoid using the "main " road.
I can't manage first thing, but was hoping to get along about mid day.

I'll txt you in the morning if you want to hook up. You still got the same number ?

And good luck from me, too, Sharrie. You will do brilliantly and I am full of admiration. Go girl! :respect:

Good luck Sharrie from all of us and i have no doubt you manage fine

somehow i can see Jim,John and Andy here...... :D

Ha ha Mcvader,

Are you sure you aren't in that pic, given your most recent inclusion in the clans ??? :scotsman1:

I can figure out which one is the soup spiller :D

Anyways,

Met up with Sharrie at the foot of the Corkscrew ( I had to go up and down it twice in case I missed her :) )
She'sin fine form, taking it all in her stride.

Saw her and J again at Dores, again, she's cracking on. Couldn't wait until the end but I can guarantee you, she'll get a finish, she's a very determined lady  ( quite a lot of folk didn't )

Well done Sharrie, you did my clan proud :respect: :respect:

See you again next year ??? :cool2:

Really good catching up with you and the bear again, although time and work didn't pan out in my favour this year, sorry about that.

Thanks for the support John, it was great to see you again and a pleasure to carry your tartan.

Jim I've not said too much about it because my training hadnt gone to plan and I wasn't sure if I would be fit enough.

I wasnt but finished anyway [emoji14]

Running that distance, you're as mad as a box of frogs!

Well done though.
I can't argue with that. My legs are very grumpy with me today, 8 hours in a car haven't helped greatly.

Would I do it again, hell yes [emoji12]

I need a padded room

A padded room you say? Well, all things can be arranged. :D

Seriously, you are completely mad but an absolute trooper as well. Well done you.
