Come on then, what's it do to the gallon & tank range?

Phil

Phil, I have no idea as I have been that taken with the bike when the reserve starts flashing I stop and put petrol in. :)
Shortly I will check the fuel consumption as I do not have to think about all that running in nonsense. :rolleyes2:

Phil,
I did 161 miles today, filled up before I set off and filled again at the same pump on the way home and it took 9.21 litres which is 2.025 gallons in real money which works out at 79.25 miles to the gallon. That was on some main roads, towns and a fair bit of twisty back roads over the moors, highest speed recorded was 92 mph but only for a few seconds (I think the throttle stuck Officer) :rolleyes2: The rest was around the 50 to 70 mark, so not too bad. I suppose if I left the transmission to do it's own thing I might get a bit more, but where's the fun in that! Will check the fuel use again in a few miles and see what it is like. Nearly forgot, I reckon you would get an easy 200 miles from a tankful as it is supposed to hodl 14 litres.

80mpg is bloody good for starters Andy, shame they couldn't have squeezed a bigger tank in there to give it some proper range (like the vstrom ;) )

200 miles or so is good enough for me Phil, being an old git I can not sit on a bike for much longer without getting off.
