Not really a new addition, just a change of ownership . . . . . . . from eldest son to me :D
Felt I had to take it out and start the "bonding" process
Picture taken just after I'd got the bike up from its lay-down after finding some ice under some snow

Back onto the black stuff, which was mainly salty grey in colour, but at least it was dry . . . .ish o_O

Bike and me are fine thanks Austin ;)

Just riding very tentatively due to having been off the bike for so long and not being as strong / fit as I was, meant that I didn't have enough momentum to keep the front pushing through and over the icy stuff . Was interesting getting the bike upright and then off of the ice o_O

Took another hurle out today - Dufftown, Cabrach, Strathdon, Corgarff, Lecht, Tomintoul, Glenlivet and then home. Only took a couple of photo's as the wind was that strong at some scenic points I feared that both the bike and I would get blown over.

View from the Corgarff view point . .

Some piccies from todays bimble. Tried stealing some cake from Lowflyer, but he must have heard me coming and closed the curtains and hid himself under the stairs  :D
Note to self - fit quieter exhaust when trying to steal cake

Anyway, as per normal upon my arrival in Inverness, it started to rain , so I went and hid under the Kessock bridge till the skies cleared a bit . . . .

I had planned on riding out to Ullapool via the scenic route, but the leaden grey skies crashing in from the west pushed me and the bike south into the hills . . . . . .

Nice little bimble out on nicely warming roads, taking a meandering route that avoided any precipitation
Bike still looked like it'd been ridden through a bog by the time I got home - farmers, please clear your sh1te from the roads once you've finished in the fields for the day. Yeh, right, and pigs might fly o_O

Hi Steve,

Sorry about missing you --- I was out tootling about as well. I headed out A82 as far as Drum, felt the wind change and dark clouds looming so headed out by Contin via the Culnakirk.
Thought you were still under the weather :(
I was and am, thought the run would do me good, but off sick Mon/Tue , working from home the now ;)
Bloody bugs keep getting worse the older you get.
Think I'll go for the flu jab end of the year.

Catch you later
