You must all have more money than me :eekicon:
I haven't bought a new bike since 1982 (TS250ER) and I certainly don't have a spare £10,000 lying around. I hope Honda get this right as their recent efforts are a bit lacklustre.
I'll probably have to wait another 3 years before they reach the 2nd-hand market by which time I'll be too old and decrepit to ride it
In the meantime I'll stick with my 18 year old DR650 :D

Well Bob, if nobody bought new there would be no second hand market. I can afford it so will indulge!
I want to enjoy my biking years before, as you say Bob, I get too old.
If there was a decent bike out there that interested me (other than an overpriced old Africa twin) I wouldn't bother with another new one. The Crosstourer is a brilliant two up tourer for me and Fiona, the G650GS is perfect for Fiona and between the RD04 and 700 Transalp do me for a second bike. So I'm happy with my bikes but like everyone, always like a change! Come on Mr Honda, let's see what you've got!

Oh please don't think I'm knocking anyone who's got the money to spend Jim, if I had the spare cash I'd also be in the queue for the new twin. Like I said before, I just hope Honda get it right :)

No offence taken Bob, I know I'm in a lucky minority to have a bit of spare cash for indulgences!
It's hard to say what to buy in todays market, I do like my Crosstourer but at 280 kilos it's a bit lardy for exploring off the tar as I ride alone most of the time. That's where my old Africa twin comes into play (occasionally subsidized by my 700 Transalp) far more usable especially on forest tracks.
A sub 200 kilo bike with 100 ponies and capable of taking two up and luggage would cover all my needs in one bike! Agree Bob, I hope Honda bring up the goods this time.
See you on the road some time mate! ;)
