Re: For Sale - KTM Adventure
Generally, the people criticising them have never actually owned one but are reporting from what a mate of a mate heard down the pub.
This is what Honda should have produced. More power, lighter, not bland, decent suspension, barking mad. Treat a KTM Adventure with a bit of respect and it'll be fine. Sure, there are odd things like clutch slave cylinders, but an aftermarket one sorts it out. You won't get one of these frying the battery, popping the electrics and hosing a CDI and rev counter or get the fuel pump points burning out. It also works properly well off-road. The difference between one of these and an AT is night and day. Ride one of these and the AT feels, well, disappointing. That's why I never rode one before I parted with my AT and I was right not to do so.
