Bought the 9er about a month ago Phil. I've still got the Mk1 for the moment.

Barftone said:Always look stunning Jim. First one really nails it. To those not sure what it is - A lot of cameras these days have a HDR (High Definition Resoution) function. Basically if you put the camera on a tripod or even hold it VERY steadily the camera takes a few exposures automatically and stitches them together which captures all the shadows and highlights such as skies being too bright or shadow areas too dark. I still bracket pics to achieve the same goal (merge the pics afterwards in Lightroom). The software these days is getting better all the time and I find its worth sometimes going over old pics and seeing if dull old pics can be brought back to life.
