There she is!

I have to wait a couple more days as she's now with a Customs agency to take care of the import.

2014 1190 Adventure, 9.7k KMs, touratech panniers.

I need to get the front brake checked out, as it vibrates a bit on braking. Something I didn't notice during the test ride.

Overall very happy with the machine, it needs farkles, but rides very well.

It doesn't compare to the 990, which is a big dirt bike that also does paved, this is a big touring bike that also does unsealed roads.

More on the new bike once I actually bring her home!

I was looking at one the other day in Fowlups. Very nice and similar money to the DCT AT in price. I would have to have a go. One day I'll spend some dough on a bike.

The bike cleared customs and was registered today, now safely tucked away at home. A small service next week, and a new brake disc and she should be ready to rumble! Can't wait to do a long ride!

The first farkle arrived today, a side stand foot. Ordered off Ali Express, as it's 25% of what the original would cost... We'll find out if it fits this weekend.

I may also have seen a box with KTM tape on it carefully hidden away for father's day :)

She gets a dealer service next week and a new brake disc and we'll be good to go!
