Took the scenic route to Ullapool this morning on the Strom, seeing as Sundays weather ain't supposed to be too good . . . . . . .
The Strom has now gathered a further 2k miles under it's wheels since I took ownership of it. And those miles have just kept on pushing the bike into close contact with my "glee gland"
Today I covered a mere 245 miles, and if it wasn't for the fact that I'd used 50 odd miles worth of fuel before I set off, I reckon I could have done the whole day on less than a tank of fuel - 63mpg when topped up at Ullapool
And as those of you out there that know me, I do like to enjoy a wiggly road when one comes my way
So I say Bollicks to what the arty farty bike magazine journo's say about the 1k Strom - it fuggin rocks.
Now, where did I stash those knobblies I removed from the F650Gs Twin?
