Had the pleasure of one Mr Geoff Francis last weekend
What a hoot, the man is priceless.:respect:

Anyways we made a decent job of finishing off a bottle of Mcallans on the Friday night then on the Saturday, went down town to look at some old cars, then a few beers afterwards.

On the Sunday, Geoff had to leave to get back darn sourf , so I headed off to Ullapool just to wind him up :D, and partly to clear my head of all the durbles.

Haven't been out for a couple of weeks due to various issues, so was looking forward to a quick blast.
Weather was great when I left Inverness, good all the way until I reached Ullapool :(

This big boat was moored up, a couple of covered tenders ferrying passengers back and forth to the village. Can only be good for the area, first time I have seen this in Ullapool.

Went up a single track road with great views.

Came across this motor less boatie in the distance, looked kinda cool

Then back on the road home at Glasnacardoch, no vehicles at all this way

And none this way either, absolutely deserted.

Gave the Bavarian Beastie a really good thrashing on the twisties, so much so that I turned around at the Dam and did it all again. :D
Can't remember when I enjoyed a run so much, it was truly awesome, my own little track day on public roads.

Had a great weekend, made special by the visit of my very good friend Geoff.
All the best mate.
Thanks for the great craic :respect:
See you when you come up next time

Less of the old fart please gentlemen - all my farts are new!
The wee sailing boatie is a russian training ship - re-mapping Scotland prior to an invasion after independance?
Many thanks for the hospitality John - did like the Monty!
The NC500 has led to an invasion of motorhomes - many hired, so very interesting on windy narrow roads.

No worries Geoff, had to think who Monty was, then realised us locals know it as the Back Bar, cos it's, erm ,at the back :D
One of the oldest establishments in Inversneckie :respect13:
