Varadero Battery

The battery on my '02 plate Varadero (xl1000) may be coming to the end of its life, bless it.

Has anyone had a replacement on theirs for any length of time that they would be willing to recommend?

There are the usual after market candidates offered by Wemoto et al, but wondering if anyone has any other ideas
before I go for the easy / obvious option?

Get a AGM battery I have had a motobatt on my Vigor for a coupleof years now and it starts better and seems to stay charged a lot better , check this is the correct battery for yor bike before ordering though

My mate has an aftermarket one of that brand on his VFR800 and he's been happy with his as well... thanks for the reply Merv.

I've always been impressed with oe fitment Yuasa's.
My 01 Alp still has the original factory fitted battery, as did the Y reg Transrat when I sold it.
Why look elsewhere?
