Bugger bugger bugger. :( The MiL phoned yesterday afternoon to say she is not feeling well. After much to-ing and fro-ing an ambulance was called and she was taken to hospital with chest pain. So we dashed back home from our lovely bunkhouse through the night. Which was, umm interesting and cold. GSs have the crappiest lights ever.

I am sure she will be fine, no one on the ward is picking up the phone this morning but the last we heard was suspected pneumonia rather than anything really really bad. Hopefully it will be antibiotics and an early discharge. Still hopeful of completing my Wales trip to meet my other mates.

Shame o hope all is OK Austin
With you about the gs lights. I bought some spot lights about 4 years ago which i just found again during packing up the garage:cool2:so when my little panzer goes to chad for some TLC i get them fitted

The MiL is fine. Discharged from hospital the next day with no physical or medical ailments found. Which is good news, but we suspect this is the beginning of a decline mentally. There are other symptoms. :(

Back on a happier topic.....Lights....I reckon you are right Pete - replace the driving lamps with something that gives a bit more penetration (ooh err) rather than visibility. I have also read some good stuff about LED bulbs for the main headlamps too. However I don't ride that much at night so until prices tumble I will soldier on.

you might have done but I don't remember agreeing to anything :)

I think it best we just let this one go.......nobody is interested in my yellow pinlock issues :mockery17:

and besides I have fixed the problem now ......apparently there was a clear one in the helmet box :)
