Fab weekend with great company in very amenable facilities. Many thanks for all the prep - Ritchie, Mikey, Sharrie and for all those who turned up. Pleasant ride out to M&P & then Touratech to see what the well heeled are buying. Had a great ride down with Barftone (as always), taking a scenic route through the Beacons & Black Mountains. Certain people were missed, looking forward to the next.
PS. Many thanks to Seb for cooking a few Polish dishes for us to sample, excellent and we would like more in the future.
PPS. Thanks to Tony for the ride down, letting me lead home and for teaching me how to use the panoramic option on my iPhone for pictures (2 included in my report)

Just woke up. Good weekend break. Thanks Richie for the base, Mike and Sharrie for the grub, seb for his Polish breakfast.
Good day out yesterday visiting some of the main tourist attractions of south Wales, M@P, Touratech. Then over the slightly moist Brynamman mountain road back down to Pembrey.
Nice one guys

Aye, a Grand weekend. Good food (thanks Mike, Sharrie, and Seb), good ride despite the pouring rain on Saturday (thanks J), and good Craic all weekend (thanks All :) ).

No pics because...... well just because.

Oooh! Some great photos here..... I am soooo green about it all and I missed being able to be there! ... I do hope there is another event later in the year (perhaps nearer summer) where I can take part......

Glad you all had such a great time x

Austin & Ann how was your lunch at the King Arthur?

Top recommendation Stuart. A great pub, Excellent lunch, quick service, reasonably priced and we got the timing just right - the rain started as we got there and stopped as we left.

Eastern Slade bunkhouse is a great bunkhouse too, possibly the nicest one we have ever been in although we are on our own in here. Spacious, underfloor heating, wood burner, a wet room with rain head shower, luxury kitchen, big comfy beds with duvets and the bike is even under cover. Now, if someone could just do something about this poxy weather I might even venture outside.

Just had an email from Marty (the Camp Commandant) who is 'over the moon with our generous donation' which is going towards the welfare fund and charity. Thanks to the clean up crew on Sunday morning and to Mike/Sharri/Seb for the scran throughout. Thanks to M&P for the Helmet and relieving me of 450 beer tokens without providing a pin lock insert. Thanks to Mother Nature for such beautiful Welsh weather.
