That was a great weekend despite the wind, a bit of rain and a couple of cool nights, although the weather was mostly perfect for biking and camping. Good to see everyone again although my liver seems to be objecting.

Agreed, great to catch up with everyone again and a great run-out led by Austin on Friday.
Lets get something sorted for next year while the momentum is there [emoji3]
A revisit to Wetnor/Inn on the Green was mentioned as was the Vaders planning something - what could possibly go wrong?

Back safe & sound despite the best efforts of farmer Giles and his sh1t encrusted landrover just a little north of Lazonby

Cracking weekend with like minded lunatics of varying degrees of insanity :D

Great site - well done Si and helpers for all of your efforts :respect13:  :respect13:

Every time I visit that part of this island I find, with the help of knowledgable locals (cheers Austin & Tone) and just plain luck, roads that I've not ridden before, views that keep getting better round every bend and challenging little off road de-tours that I've not ventured onto before (thanks again Tone:eek:)

Sample photie from the dirt brigades wanderings yesterday . . .

I am also home safe and sound. I would like to thank everyone of you (and the wife’s of those that took them with them) for the warm welcome despite not being Italian and for the good rides out. I really enjoyed it and hope to see everyone next year. Thank you all again

I actually enjoyed getting out of my tent for a pee in the middle of the night on Saturday so I could see the stars! Not like that on Thursday though!! Thanks all, especially Si and others who contributed. Loved it. Great to meet old and new friends. Happy to sort a Wiltshire meet sometime next year?

I took a couple of pics ;)

On top of a hill between Muker and Kirkby Stephen, a fair drop just beyond the bike :D

Same location, different view

I read a book " Isolation Shepherdess " and the author lives here at Ravenseat, not far from the camp site. Unfortunately some walker had broken her leg on the hill and all were away to assist, so no tea and scones for me. :(

On the road to Ravenseat, simply beautiful

And lastly, I think I should have checked in here for the week :eek:

Sorry , a bit late here.

Well I had a right feckin laff, sorry about the dancing but I was enjoying the tunes from Al's box and the cider wasn't bad either.
