For a while now I've been thinking of cutting down on my number of bikes, the washing , maintenance , tax, insurance for four bikes was begining to nag at me but the problem was always which ones shall I get rid of as I wanted to get down to two.

I had a period of seven months with no riding that I thought I would help me to see a way forward but then a phone call from a mate started the ball rolling. He has a 2015 DR650 with only 5,000 miles which he wanted to register in France but wasn't able to so a deal was done whereby he would have my Tenere 700 and I would have the DR and some cash.

So now with another DR650 coming I had to decide what to do with my present bike (same bike but three years older), and once again things fell into place as another mate got wind that it might be for sale and bought it straight away.

All that was left now was to decide what to do with my Suzuki Van Van, if I could sell it I would be down to my target , so that is up for sale but to be honest I'm noy going to give it away as even my wife thinks I should keep it.

The only bike to remain unscathed in this merry go round is my CRF250 Rally, that's not going anywhere............

I think it's time Phil, two seems a lot more managable to me. I just pray that someone doesn't bring a nice Desert Sled into work that's for sale as that could have consequences :D

There's always the itch for more, but in reality I really only use the GS...

The little blue screamer gets used maybe 3-4 times a year? It's a right giggle when I do, as a tight little 400cc doing 14000 rpm has a charm all of its own, but, well.

And still. If a CT90 ever turns up for sale I'm in trouble. ;)

I've enjoyed having 3, 4 or 5 bikes at a time in the past, time pressure doesnt currently allow that kind of luxury nowadays.
2 bikes, one of which has been sorned for what, 3 years, maybe more [emoji32], the other may do a couple of thou a year at best!

To think BC (before children) 15 - 18k a year was my usual!
