    Parking Charge Notice

Not sure what the present state of legislation is with the Private Operators, but when something similar happened to my daughter 4 years ago in a shopping centre car park, I went online and grabbed some advice. The car was registered in her name but had 5 drivers insured to use it! The nub was...

    NW rideout Saturday 27th?

A bit "wham bam, thank you mam!" I tested one last year and felt the engine was complete shite. A loose bag of spanners... Vibey and rough above 50mph, so NOT a potential 250mile/day bike. Ergos, ride and handling were good and tight, on and off road. 125kg is a real plus factor too...

    NW rideout Saturday 27th?

Indeed!! Just the classy ones.... I hope to be passing your neck of teh woods in the next fortnight if all goes to plan... Off to Sunny Bolton to test ride a new toy...

    NW rideout Saturday 27th?

What a fine idea. Like a butterfly, I am emerging from my Winter hibernation! Although the trailie has been getting dirty now and then, it'd be good to catch up with some of you :thumbsupsmileyanim:

    London motorcycling report of today

Re: London motorcycling report of today Yep. Points comensurate with the danger would be a start... 3 points for a first offence? What hacks me off is so many top end motors being driven by Tits with their phone to the ear, many will have a bluetooth connection built in to the radio which...

    For Sale Transalp 650

Any ideas how easy it would be to restrict a TA? My lad hopes to pass his A2 test in the coming weeks and something like this would be a perfect first bike...

Would love to join up half way, but I have the Solar panels for the farm being fitted Wed/Thu this week... Dreadful timing on my part :-(

    Canada & USA 2015

I'm catching up a tad late, but have enjoyed all the pics and blurb so far! Keep it coming and stay uppright in all that rain! I did warn you about those lonnnnnnnng prairie roads Austin ;-) The mountains are coming East to meet you though, so it'll soon get bumpy and windy.... :respect-048:

    Learner....

That is all wrong!! Charlie has done his CBT twice (I made him redo for a 125 with gears!) and each CBT was a FULL days worth of training followed by the actual "test". The 2nd time he still did the manouvreing around the carpark stuff, but then they spend a wee bit more time on the road as...

    Well, would you......

Yerrrrs, IKWYM Jim... Its the sneaky, small but dangerous 6" boulder that catches the front wheel unexpectedly thats the bugger. I took Bimbler@xrv (paul) for a test ride of his new (to him) DRZ400 around Shropshire on Thursday, cracking day and the lanes were perfect as were the B roads...

    Learner....

Hope all goes well.... My son was decked out in some of my old bike clobber including a dinky Akito leather jacket from around 1985, an it fitted him perfectly which looking at his skinny frame, made me rather cross....!! Helmet and bike jeans from Lidl and gloves and other assorted stuff from...

    Sleeping Mat for "owd fella"!

After a lot of looking and pondering of mats and a check of the finances, I have finally ended up with a Thermarest Mondoking, allegedly an XXL mat, but no wider than my old airbed. 10cm of supafoam comfort will I hope, contribute to some good nights sleep this year. It's a tight squeeze in my...

    Maybe they were right ...

I have seen two Beemer riders with a big ass garage tent they shared and a big ass "2 room" tent they also shared... I hope the garage was used as a seating or cooking area, but I fear not! Still, they seemed a cheerful pair of blokes, and that is the main thing, they were having a "wife free"...

    MIA. ????

Im astonished at how many xrvers are to be found on ABR these days too. It does suffer from too much noise at times and the servers are suite, but it is damned active if big Rallies are your scene... Not for me, but some smaller rideouts like here and xrv are possible ;-)

    Bravo Italia

Indeed, I live in hope that Bomber has a clue when it comes to a gameplan against really top flight opposition, but.... I always feltt that there are/were top flight Coaches in the Premiership with real hard nose experience. As you say Schmidt, or maybe Cotter. I rate Mallendar and O Shea.
