Glasses wearers

Thanks for that Chris, I'll order one today. I have even been riding without my specs on rain days even though I'm as blind as a bat, because of the fogging problem. Thats what I like about this Forum, people who find REALLY USEFUL THINGS and then tell everyone else about it!

I'll try to take some pics of it fitted. As I said, I had several goes. If I am honest I was on the point of giving up when I chanced on a fitting that stopped the fog. When I went for a ride I found it was actually too tight and I could not breathe through my nose. I loosened it in a petrol station, fully expecting it to then not work, but no... I could breathe and it still stopped my glasses fogging. I can sit at London traffic lights and everything.

Doesn't work with flip fronts, that's a shame. Seems I'll still have to hold my breath!

Can I ask if you've had direct experience of this as I wear a flip front and I do need something to stop the fog?

In Mick Evans review, the first review on the site he says

"Just be aware that it is only usable with FullFace helmets. It will not fit into Flip Front ones such as the Shoei Neotec etc., Open Face helmet or Motorcross helmets."

I've tried stand alone Dick Turpin style neoprene masks and found them to restrictive, more like Hannibal Lecter! Not found a solution yet so hence keep holding my breath. Scuba rebreather might be an option

Mine is a motocross-style helmet and it works. Just don't use the extra Velcro pad. Pics taken - unable to upload from my iPhone, so tomorrow.

1 - Print image on stiff card
2 - Cut around dotted line
3 - Cut out eye holes
4 - Cut out ear holes and thread elastic through

Hey Presto! - Your very own Foggy Mask

Worked out (I think) how to upload via Tapatalk (it really is a poor app). Fixings for inside the adventure helmet.

Here it is for specs wearers with flip-up helmets. Go and look in your local bike shop help-yourself-bin, put £1 in the charity tin and take out 1 Kett leather face mask from the 1970's. Think about Valerie Singleton for ten minutes, cut off the top half of the face mask, fix it with double sided sticky tape inside and duct tape along the outside edge. Simples.

That looks quite uncomfortable. :)

On the contrary, very comfortable - I'm only red in the face because I'm holding my breath as I don't want it to mist up for the photo. Oh, isn't that where we started?

To your face, so it doesn't lift with the chin bar ?
