There are a few stone chips but nothing too bad that it needs re-spraying

Clocks all cleaned too

Not at all, I'm very comfortable in my grubbiness. :)
I'm with you RC, while I can appreciate a clean bike, they only get dirty again ;)
Believe me, it won't stay clean.

Just making sure it'll survive the next 10 years without rotting away

There is that...

I'd actually love to do the same thing, plus some "minor" mods, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Seems to work just fine.

I know what I'm using for cleaning plastics from now on :)
Sorry if this is common knowledge but how do you use peanut butter to buff up black plastics?

Let the rebuild restart.

Still got the front end to do once I have the rear suspension back together.

Torque arm, rear shock and sub frame all went back on this morning.
Hopefully will be able to start work on the front soon.

Back end all torqued up and wheel fitted, mud guard and rear rack on.

Should have the rear end finished in a day or two, then to start on the front

Photo to follow.
