I'm getting a right proper sendoff. Wednesday mid-day I get to do the ferry dance, if the previous time is an indication there will be lots of queueing and shuffling bikes around at a speed of a meter or so every couple of minutes. I'm going to bloody know I'm on a fully faired bike this trip...

Just left there yesterday morning. Yep, your're right. Lots of shuffling going on, more so than on the way over,

Previous (and only) time I took that one was in june a few years back, so that's probably a bit busier with bikes than september. Then again, that graph...

Not looking forward to that bit. Odd too. Stena can manage it, I've hardly ever spent more than 15 minutes getting on or off the HVH-Harwich ferry. Why does it take so very long for DFDS...

(Note to self, get there _early_ and bring something to keep the sun off me.)

I am hoping to make it on Fri night, on the GSX so will mostly spend Sat either on a road ride or quaffing ales. Is Hudders going to make fire?

Myself, Stuart, and Bob will head up to the Lakes Thursday and stay over at Deano's. Will be stopping for a brew at the Hartside Cafe maybe about 11ish on Friday if anyone is on their way?

Re quaffing ales, there is a micro pub not too far from campsite.
Only one in Scotland apparently.

Well this is going well. Stopped for a coffee and loads of wasps. Then twatted myself in the face with a bungie. Stopped the blood but its starting to swell.
