I'm leaving Barrow Thursday morning. It's only 2hrs away. Austin is the burger van at devils bridge open. Hudders where's the best place to pick up a few beers on the way in. Cheers I'm looking forward to it.

Burger van at Devils Bridge. I wouldn’t know. Can’t stand the place really and rarely stop. It’s usually parked there when I go past though.

Beers, as Hudders says, KS or Hawes. KS has a bigger supermarket (Coop by the mini roundabout) but it’s quite a bit further away than Hawes. I think there are small shops in Muker and Reeth that sell beer (not certain on that as I have never been in either).

What plans are there for a road ride on Saturday, please? I may have to join you mid-way, so if you have planned a lunch stop, that would be useful information. Cheers.

Not on here much these days but reckoned there might be a National this time of year so had a quick look, and here we are.
I am intending to ride up from Brum on the AT after work on Fri night, arriving hopefully before it gets too dark to find the site.
Nice one Hudders.

There aren't really plans as far as I know. If i am leading ride I was going to work out a route based on the weather, where people wanted to go, what sort of roads, and what anyone else was doing. If someone has your phone number we can text you a lunchtime destination on Saturday morning once its all decided. .

Work has got in my way, again, was looking forward to catching up but it’ll have to wait whilst I put bread on the table. Take care & have fun, like there’s any doubt

Change of plan - going to bring the van and the drz - it's not been out to play in a while. Baz are you still planning a bimble on some lanes?

I plan on being there Fri am, one night only for me I'm afraid.
Insurance cock-up with the Alp means I'm on the 500.

So how’s life at the site by now? Cold? Plastered? Bazza piled up yet? :D
A bit chilly last night by all accounts

Home about 16:00. Good weather all way.

Thanks everyone for a great weekend. Especially out friend from the music appreation society on friday night.
Appolagies for not going round everyone to say good bye but been up at 6, to get away by 8 and it was half eight by the time i left anyway.
Still didn't evade the gate keeper though. [emoji1]
Thanks too to Steve for helping erect the refugee centre. I suppose it did not collapse and kept me dry, so not a bad tent after all.
Hope you all have safe journeys home to the various corners of this great island.

Where is the next one?
