I do wish the weather would blow itself out. I need to put some REAL miles on this machine to get the 600 mile service out of the way o_O

Would you let me run it in 1st Tone!!!??? ;)

My home made sump guard would need replacing for something with a bit more . . . . weight to it before I follow you & your Co-horts up a muddy track  :ride:

For now I'll "do" the roads

It get s a good scoosh of cold water after every ride, just like wot my other machines do.

The rain over the weekend got rid of a good deal of the road salt, but the roads are still white with the stuff plus loads of grit, hence the cold water scoosh after every ride

Paid a visit to schloss Lowflyer, but the retired civil engineer wasn't in. Probably out earning yet another shilling

Au contraire Boyo.

I was out on the Beemer checking out the Stages for the Snowman Rally held yesterday. Went to Glenurquhart stage, big long one, 11.5 miles:eek:. Didn't go all the way in as I saw a recce car go in ahead of me. Gate was open, you know the score, be rude not to
Now, had I known you were coming through ?? :D:D

Rolled past yours again this morning John ;)

Ullapool & back via not the most direct route on mostly dry roads with only the odd wintery shower, leading to a really enjoyable ride out on the little bike.

When I say "I rolled past yours", I got as near as the A96 , so didn't actually pop past your door. Thought you might have attended the rally - saw several mud splattered cars heading east on trailers as I made my way towards Inverness.

Seeing as work wanted me to actually do something this afternoon, I decided to use the bike instead on a company pool car - weathers nice so it's be wrong not to really
Halfway round doing what I was asked to do I popped off the tar, far from the madding crowds (NOT) for a break . . .

Rolled into the Shire on the way round to another job - well, why go back the way you came when the weather nice and the roads are both dry & empty :D

Hi Stuart.

SW Motech frames with my own mounting plates for some converted Pelicase boxes. The RH one sits a bit near the exhaust, but a sheet of alloy on the bottom of that box helps stop the box getting melted.
