Great photos as ever, Steve.

Wish the weather would play ball over here. It's been a tad damp for the last while.

Lutin,

Lets put this into perspective . . . you live in Ireland and you expect it NOT to rain! REALLY  ;) :clapping:

Your turn will come to fire up a steed and get out there to rub some rubber off of your tyres

I was just hankering after the fine weather we had a few weeks ago - so, so long ago now.

It's tipping it down as I type this. Ho hum.

The simplest of jobs....
There was something not quite right with the forks on the shabby but new to me cbf5.
I had a spare evening so thought I'd whip em off to pull them apart.
The forks had other plans....

4 or so hours later, lots of brute force, lots of lube (overnight), lots of heat and more brute force inserspersed with screwdrivers pretending to be chisels....

Never come across any like that before!

Verdict; all ticketyboo, the seal casing had corroded, swelling the seal, creating dreadful stiction.

So I'm not the only one an evening endeavour turns into a few evening endeavours ....

Crikey, where has the time gone ??
I remember V taking him to one of the Nationals when he was just a baby.
I snuggled a pound coin into his wee hand ( it's a thing we do up here to ensure prosperity :)) he grabbed hold of it strongly, then you yanked it away and immediately put it in your pocket :D
So you owe him a quid :thumbsupanim:

I remember it John, I doubt I'd be able to prise the money out of his hand nowadays.
