Bit more TET

Tackled a few more sections of the TET close to home, the first four last week (on standard tyres) & the rest yesterday ( on Maxxis Max Cross Pro). Loving the little bike, transformed by fitting the Maxxis tyres (thanks to the recommendation of Boboneleg) & self confidence growing slowly. Even tho the sun shone, it was cold until we hit the trails, how overdressed we were - as my accomplice said he was sweating ‘like a glass blower’s arse’ .

You've chosen a bad time of year for this! Hats off to you and your mate!

I have found tyres absolutely crucial to the (rather limited) off-road riding I've done. And yes, ideally able to put some layers into a rucksack or something! Whenever I get truly stuck, the first thing I do is remove jacket etc., cos I know they'll be coming off at some point in the proceedings!

Now your cooking Stu. Be over when we have had our free "shots". I really like the Maxis enduros on the DRZ. Don't last all that long but great grip
