The old man got home just after six, thanks to all for a great time and to Hudders for organising this years National. Also a big thanks to Austin for taking me and Steve on a great ride up to his place and to his wife for the tea and cake which was lovely.

Back home @ around 5pm after a run of over 330 miles from Austins - many thanks to himself and Anne for putting me up and putting up with me for 2 nights :D :respect13:

I'll repeat all the thanks - to Hudders for putting the plan in place, to J for leading an incredible run out on Saturday (and only one U-Turn ) and to all that attended - you all made an old man very happy. Didn't realise how special these get-togethers are and how much they meant to me.

Roll on 2022 and where ever we end up gathering - it'll be a good-un for sure

Just like to also say that this meet was way overdue, had a great time, looking forward to the next one. As Steve says, many thanks to Hudders for setting up ( even though the little swine stole my laces for the upteenth time -- Vader you have trained him well  ) Can't believe I fell for it yet again !!! Offered to set up my tarp and then raided my kit whilst I was getting shopping  Grrrrrrrr :D
Also thanks to you guys for making it such a special occasion. The company was great, the craic was good, what more do you want ??
Excellent :respect13:

Just saying like, but as I was browsing the campsite’s website (this years one) I noticed the tariff for one person and a small tent should be £12. No wonder the lady was getting excited as we all paid our “special rate” of £15. I thought it was pricey given the basic facilities. Nevertheless I enjoyed it all, it was a great weekend and a decent site in a fab location.I ain’t complaining, in fact it is amusing.

Do you remember (not sure if you were there it was a while ago!) when we all camped at Jelly's and it was just a basic field without anything so was only £2. Russ had paid for us all beforehand and then as we turned up we all paid separately so she got paid twice! :D

Anyway, reading all these posts and seeing names I haven't spoken to for some years makes me really want to go to the next national!
