New neighbour has changed his bike (it appears that he & I suffer the same “changeyerbikealot” condition.

So this afternoon, seeing as the weather was on our side (actually been raining a good bit up here) we just had to head out and roll some miles under his new-to-him steeds wheels

This is us parked up waiting for our valet to pop out with our tea . . .

The view down the river that slides alongside the castle gatehouse . . .

Final picture of what looks to be a B&W photo of some far off nebular taken from the latest space based 10billion dollar camera . . . but is just some river smeg swirling around below the bridge parapit

Looking good Bob. Nice looking bike that.
The petrol tank reminds me of a bike I had many years ago, think it was an AJS scrambler ( is what we used to call them then ;) ) Loved that bike.

I'm loving it so far John, much easier (for me) to handle than the T700 as I can almost flat-foot it. I shan't be taking it off-road though (perhaps the odd gravel road) as things are far too exposed on it and I don't want to try and turn it into something it isn't by adding sump guard, crash bars etc.

It's a great 'b' road blaster and back roads like above :thumbsupanim:

Got any photos of your old AJS ?

No don't think I have Bob, I'll check later but I don't think so.

Bit of a tragic end to the story. Sold it to a guy on the West coast. He rode it around some fields near his home without a helmet on. Crashed the bike and sadly lost his life.
I heard later his parents destroyed the bike :(

Oh that's sad. I had a RD250 many years ago, sold it to a mate who ended up under a bus and died. The police thought it was me as the log book hadn't been changed :(

Not my cup of tea but you have to a) admire the engineering
b) admire the concept
Then ask yourself -- Why ????? :D:D

Very warm day, you could smell the melting leather chaps a mile away :respect13:
