    Back in November, the Transalp and I had an argument with a tipper lorry. Suffice it to say that the lorry won, with the Transalp significantly second-best. (I was unscathed :)).     Today's Transalp

    I've had my 650 Transalp for about 7 years, and 40,000 odd miles. What would you suggest as a suitable, up-to-date, successor? A new Africa Twin would be exceedingly nice, but, being realistic, I should be looking for something lighter and less tall (and no more than £4-5000).

    Hi!

    Evening, all! Greetings from Cardiff..... I ride a 650 Transalp.Been riding for about 5 years, after a near 30 year gap. I'm enjoying exploring South and Mid Wales,and the nearer parts of England - retirement has its advantages! I just wish the rain would stop :D
