Nice little machine there Steve Is that going to be your bike for the D2D ??
Btw, far too clean, you need to get it down and dirty young man

Just back from Morroco.
Went to see the start of the Morroco desert challenge and got ( Blagged ) entry to the scrutineering. Machines were out of this world engineering wise, spent most of the day there.

Took this one for Jonathon and Chad. Good to see new blood in the paddock.

Managed to bag a seat on one of the works KTM's. Management control at it's best. Really nice guys, couldn't do enough for me, apart from taking it for a spin obviously

Had a chat with the Desert Rose team. Good luck Richard, Fraser and Oliver. Hope you all do well

All in all, a great day out under sweltering conditions. Even the strange one found it very interesting

Doing the D2D with it was part of the plan John.
However, having ridden it over distance I'm afraid the geometry of the bikes frame/seating position causes an old ankle injury to flare up.
The bike left the garage this afternoon to its new owner, so I guess I'll be using the F658GS twin for the D2D . . . unless something else pops up at the "right" price ;)

Bike tart - ME - never :respect10:

Ahh, finally got time for a few miles on the wee one. No not on Hudders, on my CT90. :iconmrgreen:

And I was today years old when I found out this thing has a battery ignition.

That means that if you're a bit of an idiot and you leave the ignition on while taking said picture, the battery runs flat and you can kick start that thing a thousand times but no sparky you walkie. (6 volt electrics means no easy jumper cables either.)

So I got a lift home and had to get creative.

Yes bicycle carriers aren't supposed to carry motorcycles so it's about 50% overloaded, but needs must. If it worked, it wasn't daft. :iconmrgreen:

More miles on the 'ikle GS, seeing as the sun was out . . .
