Bah another puncture.
I'm convinced its these Anakee tyres.
So new GSA and only 2K miles and 1st puncture in the rear.
Screw not far off the centre line. Looks like its been there a while.
Will need to get the kit out tomorrow as mobile chappy can't repair it properly until Thursday evening.

Dave, I normally take the tyre off and fit a patch if iam at home. I have changed to metzeler tourance as they have a heavier tread pattern and larger weight rating.

Yeh I’ll probably move back to Tourance’s. I had them on the last GSA, 2 sets I think with no punctures before I chopped the bike in.
Last Anakee rear had 3 punctures in!

I had Anakee's on the AT with no major dramas regarding punctures.
I would have stayed with them but the new Anakee looked more like a road slick than road/trail.:(
So I went with E90's on the AT and Pilots on the GSA Beamer ( one puncture in 5k miles ), all good

You're in Bristol aren't you? I had bad experiences with punctures in Bristol. Its living in Bristol that's your problem. Ironically I got one of them fixed in Patchway :)

I do indeed and it’s the daily commute.

Well mobile tyre blokey has been around. Tyre is knackered as he found a big split in it as well. So new rear on its way of and a set of TKC80's for the spare set of wheels that I've got.

i've used anakees for years with only one puncture problem, but admittedly not very high mileage. I have had, however, a couple of problems with them being deformed, either due to a fabrication fault or storage problem, Michelin have, both times, replaced the tyre at their cost, but it's still a shed load of hassle, a) trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with the tyre, why it won't seat properly or run straight and then b)getting it changed again. I'm no longer a great michelin fan to be honest, but I do like the anakees...

the trumpet has a pirelli scorpin on the front I think and a battlewing on the rear... maybe I should check that, i haven't really paid attention.
