Time off approved, ferry booked, plenty time left to pack, this is starting to look easy.

Just to make it a bit more exciting, left head gasket has started blowing in earnest so I'm having the heads rebuilt (and lightly tickled ) in the mean time. With a bit of luck it'll be run in again before we hit the plains.

Hopefully I will be down for the weekend, I will confirm later if ok. I know the area very well if of interest for a small group ride-out. Recently brought a Yamaha TT600 Belgrada, doing loads of checks & small jobs on it at the moment, but hopefully I will bring it down, if not the XTR. looking forward to meeting up with everybody again after on a short meet up in Bourton-on-the-Water.

As I am not too far away from the Bruce arms, I did a bit of a reccy and had a look around. The pub is excellent and the beer is excellent as well. Had a pint of pigswill. Met Matt and he was showing me a couple of teepees he has in the camping area that will sleep about 8 each that we can use. There is a futon in each one of them.

They seem excellent so I am going to put my name down for a spot in one of them as it saves me bringing a tent. I'll bring my own bed though!

If I could figure out how to post a picture here, I would but I can't.

ok i'll admit i've not read ever page .... What shops are in the local area for food and picking up a few beers? I had a quick look at google maps and looks like I need get my stuff at something like Trowbridge.

There's a Tesco Superstore in Marlborough 15 minutes away. That'll do I suppose.

Pewsey has quite a few shops and takeaways. Garage up the road at Burbage
