Nice to see the boys making it back up North. :)

Nearly didn't make it myself, Derek and myself stopped at Hopwood Services on the M42 for some food and as I parked up I noticed that my radiator was pissing fluid, not good! It must have started recently but had covered my left leg etc... Tried some radiator sealant but it just got worse as I ran the engine and started pissing everywhere. Called the AA and they were there in half an hour, guy was spot on and sorted it for me with some Quick Steel. I delayed us for a few hours though and that meant nearly 10 hours to get home :(

Absolutely fekked now, had a quick bite and the scratcher is calling me, lol...

Big mention to Stuart because I called him to let him know what was going on and he was going to go home, drop the motorhome off and then come back in his car with trailer if the AA couldn't fix it. Top bloke.

p.s. Derek didn't take his chance and leave me, he's a good egg too :D

Yeah so lucky it decided to pop just coming to the Services rather than losing it all on the motorway and cooking your engine to buggery fair play to Stuart for offering to help like that it would have been a pickle and a half if we couldn't get it going again having to drag its dead arse back up here what a gentleman

Had a fantastic weekend - absolutely lovely to see everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed the day out on Saturday and laughing the evenings away with treasured friends... What more could one wish for (apart from healed injuries of course).

A big thank you to Russ and those involved in organising this and , of course, to everyone who was able to turn up. :thumbsupanim: :

I would also like to thank all those that made this a great weekend. Interesting things to see, great roads to ride, and great fun meeting old (and new) mates. Big thank you to Wheelie's mum and dad who made us very welcome on our visit. Only downside is that someone must have photoshopped the pictures of me smiling because, as everyone knows, I don't do smiles. :(

Headed up M5 but was falling asleep so diverted off, got fuel, food and crossed over toA49 for slower but more alert ride home

Got home 3pm, tent & tarp up for drying, bike washed, and washed (the bits I missed first time after it dried), and washed (damn that chalky stuff is stubborn)! All clean now. All packed away again by 5pm

Thanks to those who organised the weekend, great weekend thoroughly enjoyed and great to see everyone again.

Thank you to those that tried to help out with the puncture,

note to self, next time I lend out my puncture repair kit make sure all of the bits are there :)

at least I was able to demonstrate it in use even if the hole was too big on this occasion

glad you got sorted in the end anyhow
