Thanks Andy and all best you we was firs time and and we will come on the next meeting anywhere you go guys.

Nice to see you and meet your boy, he seems to really love the bikes, asking questions and telling us about his Varadero 125. A future attendee to many meets I'm sure.

Shame about the AA van, hope it didn't take too long to get home.

We get home 8pm
Just looking for new spokes.

Thanks

Got a reminder today that I need to tax my bike, went online and it wouldn't tax because it's got no MOT. Good job I didn't get pulled over going tot he national! :D
Eldest nearly got caught out like this - got a phone call early doors on Friday -
"Dad, we might be a bit late leaving!"
"Why?"
"Cos my machines MOT ran out some time ago"

Fortunatly he managed to get it into the local shop and tested by 10am :rolleyes2:

They really should provide a proper public service and issue MOT reminders, the same way they do for their precious "Road Fund Licence".

Try Central Wheel Supplies in Birmingham (I think).

They supplied me with spokes for an AT wheel. They also do a wheel building service if your not up for building the wheel back up yourself.

Yes it would help. I've had to SORN it for now because I can't get tax until a valid MOT and I can't MOT it because of the faulty indicator. I'm gonna get Derek on the case to try and sort it.

Yes but that would cost "them" a small amount of money, rather than raking in lots as fines imposed on those who get done for no MOT. It's all about ways and means to legitimately rob the public :eek:ld-025:
