Strange side effects of this pandemic......I was meant to do the tick tock tack thing, but I was too excited waiting for the new girl to arrive.....well new to me :- and wait I had to for a long time)

After testing both DCT and manual and old VS new, my heart set on the previous Africa Twin Adventure Sports.......had a quick ride when I went to the Honda Adventure weekend, loved it to bits.
Tried the DCT and appreciated the versatility of the system specially for someone like me who uses the bike to commute into London 5 days a week but......it still did not convince me 100%

So this lovely AT has now become my babe! Bought it at the end of January, but only picked it up last Friday (don't ask...) 2018 Reg with 4K on the clock.

but since Friday I managed over 200 miles and I am still grinning side to side. So impressed with it!
I liked the new model too but, as I said before, my thick brain would have never mastered the many gizmos of the left hand side......16...17 different buttons and an iPad instead of a dashboard ....? Nope...not for me, I am too old for that......

I loved the two Deros I owned, and enjoyed every single one of teh almost 100K miles I covered on them, but .....the king is dead, long live the Queen....Twin......:)

PUIG screen will be the first thing to go on ebay......hate the bloody thing!

Nice one Tony, enjoy the bike. I would be interested in updates from time to time on how it handles 5x7 commuting, especially over the winter.
