About 6 weeks ago, got bike oot of t shed and rode the 3 miles to work and back and was greeted with the attached photos. Not good.
Bike picked up and taken to bmw inverness.
There is some corrosion on the cylinder head too.
Bike still there, they are waiting on word from bmw.
Sun is out and i am champing at the bit. Going demented.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Bloody hell Rick, you're not having much luck with the beamers are you ??

More of a worry, you should get those gaps filled in around your paving slabs.
A small child might fall in between, never to be seen again.:D

Take it bike is at Harry's ??

Good luck with that as well :(

Pavers have been temporarily put down about 2 years ago.
    Yes, its at harrys.
The holdup seems to be with bmw and warantee work.

    That isn’t good.
I’ve just bought a new gsa rallye and chopped in my 2017 gsa te. That had corrosion on the final drive and swing arm but all were changed under warranty.
Oh plus had a couple of mirrors as well as they were rattling!
    Hope you get it sorted.

They are going to fix everything, but want to charge me £40. The cost of repairs being much greater, i wonder why they bother.
Still, they say extended warantee does not cover the water pump issues
Actually quite good as i have a £100 excess on that so 40 is better.

Yes it would cost more to process the £40! That doesn’t sound bad though.
