speed camera detectors are illegal, however a gps with the fixed camera positions programmed in is legal, as are community systems such as Coyote, waze, etc. The gendarms hate them but they are not illegal in france.
Thanks for the clarification :)

Isn't it good how things work put sometimes......the H7 bulb I bought and carried with me just to be legal in France got used after the "LampF" warning came up on the dash today. :). 5 minute job if that to swap it out, and loads more room in the tool case now too.

Currently in the far north west of Spain where it is cool and drizzly - a bit like Norfolk I reckon. But Portugal and some nice warm sun isn't far away. The roads up here are bloody ace by the way. Well worth the visit.

Are you still on your travels Phileas Fogg?

PM Stuart, he's in Portugal at the moment, you never know you may be close and could have a beer. :)

We came home for what we hoped to be just a week or so to check on our respective elderly mothers. Which was just as well as Anne's hadn't been going to any of her many health clinics or doctors appointments. My mum fell and broke her arm just as we planned to get away again so things got delayed a bit. Anyway all's well now.

Will PM Stuart as suggested - if I can of such a thing on Tapatalk and a very old iPhone.
