What a shame, what a great bloke. I can remember riding his bike off Salisbury Plain to get it recovered after 'the incident'.

Cracking photo Craig.

RIP Geoff .

Well, having chatted with John this evening, I can confirm what's already been said on here - Geoff was a star, a "one-off", the likes of which most of us rarely meet.

John recounted his last chat with Geoff when he, John, went down to say goodbye to his pal last weekend. 2 and a half hours of fags, whisky and blether, apparently with Geoff doing most of the talking .

Slainte Geoff, slainte.

I only met Geoff a handful of times and to be honest didn't know him that well, certainly no where near as well as some on here; he is, however, one of those chaps that you wished you knew better.

The few times I met, and spoke with Geoff, he was a funny and sound bloke.

If I was saddened by hearing of his passing then that just goes to show the man he was, and how much more sad the likes of John must be.

Shocked and saddened to hear about Geoff, he was always ready to have a chat and made you feel at ease.
