Hello from Inverness, but originally from Orkney.

Presently have a KTM 690 Enduro R, hopefully that’s big enough to be called a bigtraillie. Also have a BMW R1200RS, nearly went the GS route, but the KTM is good enough for day trips around the Highlands, or the bits that aren’t fenced off by the forestry commission or landowners. Shame so much is fenced off, but it is what it is.

Welcome my Orcadian, almost Inversnekkian friend

I am out and about on the bike most weekends, but have a wee knee issue at the moment.
Once I get my act together, myself and the Welsh boyo Steve T will meet up with you for a wee bimble if you're up for it.
Keep an eye on planned rideouts, either that or drop me a pm ( sometimes the "planned rideouts" are usually planned on the Saturday night) .

Thanks Lowflyer, I’m only home for half the year and most of my runs are during the week when home, we have err VW Camper for weekend trips . I’ll keep a lookout for any planned runs etc. For the size of it Orkney had far more trail bike type tracks, certainly not so many gates and fences.
