Hi Everyone,

I was looking around on XRV, wondering where everyone went, just spotted a post mentioning Big Traillie and completely forgot I had an account here too!

Life got in the way, and while leaving Mark Zuckerberg's social hellscape was great for my blood pressure, it did mean losing touch with a bunch of folks from the XRV days.

Recently sold my KTM 1190 Adventure and bought an Aprillia Tuareg 660, looking to do more riding next year and hoping to make it across the channel as it's been too long since I've had a proper full English.

Looking forward to reconnecting with old mates!

JB

Hey, long time no see.

Yeah, ditching FB is a mixed blessing. Good to be rid of it in general and I don't really miss it, if only because it was 75% ads and random content anyway, but it does involve losing track of friends.

Well that is a blast from the past, nice to hear from you JB.

welcome back "home" :)
Tony, if you remember NOT seeing the mast at the top of the Beallach due to the sh1te weather ?

Well, me, Africa Jim, JB and his bro thundered up to the top of the mast last time they were up here :ridebumps:
Great craic

Welcome back JB

Welcome back JB
From what I remember, I stayed at the bottom, I didn't actually make it up, my brother did though!

In my defense, the Tiger 955 I had at the time weighed a tonne and had some braking issues at the time :).

The current bike is a lot lighter, so should I make it there again I'll definitely try to get up there!

Give us a shout when you want to do it again JB
I still have the same green africa twin ( Jim's old bike  ) so both bike and rider are willing to give it a go
Be good to hook up again after all these years
