I've been busy

I built my house around twenty years ago.
The back garden was done in a hurry, so much so that it was quite a steep slope from the fence to the garden wall.
I was having a few drinks a while back, was so hot elected to drink bottles of Bud instead of Redskins.
I put the first one down on the grass only to see it fall over due to the steep gradient.
This happened three more times ( with different full bottles obviously :) )

It was then that I decided to flatten it out

My back garden middle of last month.
My eldest son needed some turf, so I hired a turf cutter :)
In actual fact, this turf originally came from a football pitch, no not Wembley :D

Anyways, garden now

Just gotta finish off the step at the front and stick a new fence up.
Working most nights and Saturdays, 320 slabs round the house and the patio, I'm fekin knackered :p
The timber looks remarkably like a crib wall which was erected at one of my sites -- there was some left over, ;) 80 yr guarantee :thumbsup:
Just going to get it finished in time for someone's very special birthday end this month.

Should make it

Looks great John but if you had measured twice you would not have needed the three off cuts to finish it off. ;)

Gone for the low maintenance option then?

Mind you, I can't talk as we're still not sure what to do with our garden. At the moment the plan is to see what actually comes up and work from there.

Anyway, it's Rachel's responsibility. But don't tell her I said so.......... :D
