Thought I’d check in and see what was happening over here… I can’t remember the last time I visited the forum. Seeing as I can just about p!ss over the border from door of my house, I usually spend my forum time over on ADVScotland!

Still getting out there enjoying two wheels when I can and I have plans for bigger trips this year, all things being well.

We bought a ‘small-holding’ about 10 miles N.E. of Carlisle a couple of years ago and had a brilliant lockdown knocking the place about. I’ve had the Buell for three or four years now - ace bike, I love it … might sell it this spring, then again I might not

Cheers Steve. It’s wearing the Remus exhaust in the first shot, that was the one you (and the rest of Carlisle) heard the other year. It’s got a standard exhaust on now. Whisper quiet by comparison .

As I’ve just about finished the Buell ‘to do’ list I don’t want to sell it now, but I’m trying to channel my inner SteveT … sell, buy, sell… … and I do quite fancy an NC or perhaps a 650 V-Strom XT or an F800GS or a KTM 790 or …

Sounds idyllic, if I ever get half a day free (a rarity nowadays!) I'll give you a shout & have a run up.

Well your talking to the right man then, as I can lay my hands the 1st 3 bikes in that list .

Yeah, still got the XL and the TDM. Lou bought an F650GS (single) last year but she’s not really got into it. No confidence, no sense of direction . We’ll see how it goes this year but I’ll probably take it off her hands, it’s a nice little bike .
